This is NOT PAINTBALL but it's a similar idea! Instead of shooting paint rifles fire an infrared beam at range of up to 150 metres. Shots travel at 186,000 feet per second (the speed of light) and can not be deflected by wind (so there is no dodging a shot)! A one-hour game with unlimited ammunition and lives costs 800 Baht.

Jungle Squad operates 30 laser combat rifles, 15 M16's, and 15 rifles called Maritas to allow instant recognition of team players. Jungle Squad operates in Kathu, near Patong Beach on Phuket. Games are played in 5 Rai of jungle battleground. Each rifle has sensors attached that are worn on players' hats, so it is basically a head shot for a "kill". You can have anything from 1 to 99 lives in the rifle, usually only two in the standard camp-to-camp game. When your weapon is dead, you must withdraw from the battle and be reset by a marshal.

The company has put together a number of packages that include Laser Combat Games alongside things like water skiing, go karts and bungee jumps - worth checking out!
